FAQ

How does the process work?

Typically- we will discuss the project and your vision. From there we will provide you an estimate, we will also work with you on finalizing a scope of work and agreeing to a contract. After a contract is signed and we collect a deposit, we will finalize materials and get you on the schedule to start work. At that point we will discuss the schedule for the job and you will meet the crew dedicated to your project. As a team- we will clarify our intentions to avoid any miscommunications. Your project manager will be on site throughout the project to ensure accuracy and quality check the progress. You will receive access to an app based portfolio of your project that will document the progress chronologically and house pertinent documents. At the end, your project manager will walk with you through all contracted items to establish if any remaining “punch list” items need to be addressed. Final payment will be requested after the punch list items are complete.

construction scheduling

Robert Burns wrote: the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. This is as true in construction as it is in other aspects of life. We will set a schedule with you based on mutual availability and material sourcing/ordering/deliveries but there should always be an underlying understanding that things out of our control do happen sometimes. Weather, traffic, family or job site emergencies, unexpected material delays…Our dedicated project mangers are here to communicate those issues to you with urgency and resolution.

Green initiative

Reduce.Reuse. Recycle. We have extensive resources with local suppliers of reclaimed building materials and customer mill work on existing products. We can also work with you to recycle existing appliances and leftover materials to local charities. Check out our blog on kitchen recycling!
